Manchester United's Luke Shaw praises relationship with Memphis Depay

Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw says that he and Memphis Depay are building a strong relationship.

Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has claimed that he is building up a strong relationship with new teammate Memphis Depay.

The Dutchman impressed in United's Champions League qualifier on Tuesday night as he scored twice in a 3-1 win over Club Brugge at Old Trafford in the first leg.

"I think our relationship is starting to build up," Shaw told MUTV. "We have played a couple of games together and I am starting to understand how he wants to play.

"It is great to be playing with him - he can beat a man and he likes the attacking support from me as well, which is something I like to do."

United have a 100% record in the Premier League so far this season, having won their first two games.
