Pablo Zabaleta has no doubt that Angel di Maria will become a success story after completing his move to Manchester United earlier this week.
The Manchester City player believes that his fellow Argentine has the quality to thrive in the Premier League, and that their rivals were right to break the British transfer record to sign him from Real Madrid.
"With Di Maria, United have signed one of those players that every single club in the world would like to sign," Zabaleta told reporters. "He's a top player.
"He has been at Real Madrid and has won a lot of trophies. He's won the Champions League and has great experience there.
"He's a great player, he's fast, he's direct, sets up goals and can score them. They are spending a lot of money but he will be a great signing for them."
Di Maria could make his debut against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
