Goalkeeper David de Gea could be forced to see out the final year of his contract at Manchester United, according to reports.
The Spaniard has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid during this window, and reports have suggested that the La Liga side have had a £13m bid rejected.
However, the Daily Mail claims that United have told Madrid that they must pay £20m for the 24-year-old, but they have, so far, refused to meet that valuation.
The report suggests that De Gea is now more likely to stay at Old Trafford for the final year of his deal before joining Madrid for free next year.
De Gea joined United from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
