Galatasaray vice-president Refik Arkan has revealed that the Turkish champions are keen on signing Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The 31-year-old announced at the weekend that he intends to search for pastures new after dropping down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
"We have had discussions with Berbatov's management," Arkan told Radyspor. "We want to have a world-class striker.
"Our president also wants this, but the final decision rests with the coach [Fatih Terim]. Berbatov is one of the possibilities."
The former Tottenham Hotspur forward has also been touted as a possible target for Serie A side AC Milan.
