Report: Manchester United want Youri Tielemans

A report claims that Manchester United want to sign Anderlecht's 18-year-old midfielder Youri Tielemans.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans to Old Trafford in the January transfer window.

The 18-year-old, who came through the youth system at Anderlecht, has scored three times in eight league appearances this season.

A number of clubs have long been linked with a move for the teenager, who already has eight Belgium Under-21 caps to his name.

However, according to the Daily Mail, it is Man United that currently lead the race, with Louis van Gaal preparing to sanction a move in the winter transfer window.

Tielemans made 52 appearances in all competitions for Anderlecht last season and is already fast closing on 100 games for the Belgian outfit.
