Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has told fans not to judge the side after playing only a handful of games so far this season.
The Magpies are currently 10th in the Premier League table after one win, one draw and one defeat in their opening three matches.
"We have done okay. We have had a decent start and I'm looking forward to the Everton game," Pardew told The Journal.
"All of us managers are just trying to get our teams nailed down. After 10 games is when you can judge whether or not you have made a good start to the season, a bad start or just an indifferent start - and at the moment we are just getting going."
Pardew will start his two-match touchline ban for pushing an assistant referee when Newcastle travel to Goodison Park on Monday night.
