Pepe handed one-match suspension

Pepe is to miss to Portugal's next game having been handed a one-match suspension following his coming together with Germany's Thomas Muller.

Portugal defender Pepe has been handed a one-match suspension following his sending-off against Germany.

The 31-year-old was shown a straight red card for headbutting Thomas Muller in his side's 4-0 defeat at the Arena Fonte Nova.

Pepe, who has also been fined £9,860 by FIFA, will now miss the game against United States, but will be available for selection to face Ghana.

Germany currently top Group G on goal difference after one game.
