Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has hit back at claims that his wage demands are hampering his chances of sealing a transfer this summer.
Before the transfer window opened at the start of July, Austin was already being linked to other clubs, but so far, a move has failed to materialise.
Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are said to be among a number of Premier League clubs who are interested in signing the 26-year-old, but none have matched QPR's £15m asking price.
According to recent reports, clubs are put off by Austin's £85,000-a-week wage demands, but the player himself appears to have responded to those claims.
The forward took to Twitter to post an image of Mr Men character 'Mr Greedy' and added numerous laughing emojis.
