Dani Carvajal plays down injury fears

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal quells fears that he could miss the next couple of weeks through injury.

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has played down suggestions that he could face an extended period on the sidelines after being stretched off in Sunday's 3-0 win over Levante.

The right-back collapsed in the final few minutes of the clash at the Bernabeu, but has insisted that he will return to training later this week.

"It was an isolated incident. I felt a pull in my left leg. The doctor told me it would be best to leave the pitch," Carvajal told reporters at a press conference.

"I hope it's nothing and I feel good about it. I want anyone who is worried to relax. In two or three days I'll be fine."

Los Blancos currently sit three points clear at the top of La Liga.
