Brazilian defender Dodo has completed his move to Italian club Roma from Corinthians.
The 20-year-old, who has also been linked with Manchester United, announced on his Twitter account that he will join the Serie A outfit.
"I'm going to Italy, to Roma ... now is the moment to prepare myself for the new season and give my best to make up for lost time," he tweeted.
Meanwhile, the club's official website confirmed the move on Tuesday, saying: "A.S. Roma confirm a five-year contract with the player Jose Rodolfo Pires Ribeiro (Dodo), which runs from today until June 30 2017.
"The player has come from S.C. Corinthians Paulista, with whom he rescinded his contract by mutual consent when signing the agreement with A.S. Roma."
Dodo has signed a five-year contract with the club.
