Rotherham United have signed free agent Danny Collins after his release by Nottingham Forest.
The 34-year-old defender has signed a one-year deal and is the fifth player to join the Millers this summer.
Speaking of his latest addition, Rotherham boss Steve Evans told the club website: "His references were impeccable in terms of his fitness, hunger and desire it all shone like a beacon of light in the ocean and that attracted me to him.
"We've had a wonderful opportunity to bring him in for a year with the option of extending that if Danny proves to be as good as I think he can be."
Collins made just eight appearances last season for fellow Championship club Forest.
