Sampdoria are reportedly close to completing the signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Jose Campana.
The Spaniard arrived at Selhurst Park last summer from Sevilla, but having initially been a regular part of the starting lineup, he fell out of favour and spent the second half of last season on loan in Germany with Nuremberg.
He has since been deemed surplus to requirements by Palace manager Tony Pulis, which has paved the way for his switch to Serie A with Sampdoria, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report added that Samp will pay around £1.4m for the 21-year-old, who will sign a four-year contract at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
