Schalke have confirmed that they are not looking to conclude any more transfer business before the beginning of the new season.
The German club have signed Chinedu Obasi, Roman Neustadter and Tranquillo Barnetta this summer and chairman Clemens Tonnies has claimed that Jose Manuel Jrado will not leave the Veltins-Arena despite the new arrivals.
Tonnies told Bild: "We agree that our squad, even with the sale for Jurado, have enough class. Because of this, we do not need to do any more [in the transfer market]."
General manager Hors Heldt has also dismissed rumours of a Jurado departure. "He wants to stay and win, he shows that in training. A functioning Jurado is worth a lot for any team," he said.
Schalke finished third in the Bundesliga last season.
