Andros Townsend to make Tottenham Hotspur return

Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend is expected to make his return from injury tonight for the team's Under-21s.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend will make his return from injury tonight against Newcastle United for the team's Under-21s.

The England international has been out of action for Spurs' last five matches after picking up a hamstring injury last month.

"First of all it's a great opportunity for Andros to hone his fitness after his injury," coach Chris Ramsey told the club's official website. "Then it's an opportunity for him to help out the younger lads in the squad."

Townsend has scored two goals in 19 appearances for Tottenham so far this season.
