Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has insisted that he will not be signing any new players before tonight's 11pm deadline.
The North Londoners have been linked with a host of players this month, including Yevhen Konoplyanka and Dimitar Berbatov.
However, speaking to reporters this afternoon, Sherwood admitted that there was "zero chance" of any arrivals at White Hart Lane.
"Berbatov? No. I like him and think he's a very good player, but we've got strikers here who can do a very good job. I don't think there's any mileage in Konoplayanka," he said. "[There is] zero chance [of any more signings]. We need to put things together, like a jigsaw here, and I've got real trust in the players that we've got."
Earlier today, Sherwood sanctioned the loan departure of Lewis Holtby to Fulham.
