Tottenham Hotspur 'to prioritise five positions this summer'

Tottenham Hotspur identify five positions in need of strengthening this summer, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified five positions in need of strengthening during this summer's transfer window.

Spurs are expected to be active ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, having struggled to replicate their success from last term during the current season.

According to Football Insider, the club and head coach Jose Mourinho have both identified targets in the five areas in need of strengthening ahead of next season.

The report claims that the capital giants want a new centre-forward, a defensive midfielder, a centre-back, a right-back and an attacking midfielder to arrive this summer.

Willian, who is in the latter stages of his contract at Chelsea, is allegedly a target, although the club's business is currently on hold due to football being halted last month.

Tottenham are currently eighth in the Premier League table, seven points off fourth-placed Chelsea, but there is no guarantee that the current season will be allowed to safely resume.
