Adrian: 'We deserve our current league position'

West Ham United keeper Adrian believes that his side fully deserve to be fourth place in the Premier League following their run of three straight wins.

West Ham United keeper Adrian has insisted that his side deserve to be in the top four of the Premier League following their recent run of good form.

The Hammers have reeled off three straight wins in the top flight, including their 3-1 win over Swansea City last week, to move into the Champions League places after 15 matches this season.

Adrian told the club's official website: "The team deserves to be in this position because we are showing every week that we can play well. Every game in the Premier League is tough and Sunderland will be no exception.

"We have come back from losing positions in the last two games and it's good for us because we've been playing well and keeping control of the games.

"We kept going with hard work and managed to turn it around. We hope for another good match on Saturday to keep our run going."

Sam Allardyce's men play Sunderland at the Stadium of Light later today.
