Wigan Athletic manager Gary Caldwell has bolstered his squad for their upcoming League One campaign with the additions of Kevin McNaughton and Sean Murray.
Former Cardiff City full-back McNaughton has signed a one-year deal after impressing on trial, while midfielder Murray has joined on an initial one-month loan deal from Watford.
Veteran McNaughton has Premier League experience from his time at Cardiff, but has played most recently during two loan spells at Bolton Wanderers.
Murray, meanwhile, is an Republic of Ireland Under-21 international.
The Latics, who were relegated from the Championship last season, kick off their campaign at Coventry on Saturday.
