Castleford score 14 points in the final 15 minutes to rescue a dramatic 30-30 draw against London Broncos.

Castleford Tigers produced a late flurry of points to secure a 30-30 draw against London Broncos this afternoon.

The hosts took the lead after just six minutes when Michael Witt's fine pass found James Medeika, who crashed over the line.

Castleford hit straight back, however, when Kirk Dixon broke free to set up Daryl Clark, who touched down under the posts.

The Broncos were soon back ahead when Craig Gower's inside pass found Scott Wheeldon, who powered over. Witt added the extras to make it 10-6 to the hosts after 15 minutes.

The Tigers levelled things up again shortly after the half-hour mark when Justin Carney broke free before giving the ball to Rangi Chase, who went over to make it 10-10.

Chris Melling restored the hosts' lead just before half time when he went over in the corner following a scrum. Witt struck a fine conversion to send the teams into the break at 16-10.

They extended their lead shortly after the restart through a Chris Bailey try, but Castleford hit back less than five minutes later when Grant Millington collected a Chase kick and went over.

Gower then scored for the hosts to give them a 14-point lead with 15 minutes remaining.

That deficit was reduced in the 70th minute when Carney raced down the wing before cutting inside to touch down, and he was swiftly followed by another try from Nathan Massey to make the score 30-28.

The visitors were then awarded a penalty with less than two minutes to play, and Jamie Ellis made no mistake to secure a dramatic draw for his side.
