Todd Carney has won a case for unfair dismissal by his former club Cronulla Sharks.
The Catalans Dragons stand-off was sacked by the Australian outfit last year after posting a crude image of himself on Instagram.
Carney, who made the move to the Dragons last September, took the case to an appeals committee where it was found that his former side had failed to observe due process before dismissing him.
It has been suggested that Carney, who was also sent packing by previous club Canberra Raiders, could now take legal action against Cronulla.
