Former England captain Lewis Moody has described Jonny Wilkinson as an "incredible player".
Wilkinson, 32, confirmed his retirement from international rugby earlier this evening.
Moody, who himself called time on his career with England recently, revealed that it had been an honour to play alongside the fly-half.
"Jonny Wilkinson is an incredible player and I feel very humble to have played alongside him," Moody told Sky Sports News.
"The number of caps he may have won if he hadn't been injured is almost unthinkable."
Wilkinson was part of the England squad that went to the 2011 World Cup, where Moody skippered the side.
