England's Nick Easter has blasted the RFU for leaking player feedback after the World Cup.
The number eight did concede however that he may have been responsible for one of the most controversial remarks.
Following a disastrous tournament in New Zealand, England players' feedback to the RFU was leaked to the press, with one player reportedly stating: 'That's £35k just gone down the toilet' after the quarter-final defeat to France.
"I don't remember specifically saying it but it's possible I did – especially if a number of players have said so. It is the kind of facetious thing I say and people who know me know this," said Easter.
England exited the competition after losing 19-12 to France on October 8.
