Wales international Aaron Jarvis will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, his club side has confirmed.
The Ospreys' head physio Chris Towers has also revealed that the 26-year-old will undergo surgery in order to correct the problem he picked up in Wales's defeat to New Zealand at the weekend.
"Aaron suffered a significant ligament injury to his right knee in the Wales vs. New Zealand game on Saturday. He is going to require surgery and will miss the remainder of the 2012-13 season," Towers told the club's official website.
"We are currently in discussions with specialists to establish the best surgical option and timing of the surgery to ensure the best outcome."
Jarvis is one of a number of Welsh players currently on the sidelines as they prepare for their final Test match of the year against Australia.
