AC Milan are reportedly set to offer Charles De Ketelaere to West Ham United in a bid to sign Gianluca Scamacca from the Hammers.
Both players joined their respective clubs at the start of the season on five-year deals, but have struggled to break into the first team.
De Ketelaere's Milan move was one of the biggest in Italy last summer, but he is still yet to find the net for the Rossoneri in 34 appearances.
Italian outlet Telelombardia claim that Milan are looking to bring Scamacca back to Italy, after his departure from Sassuolo to join West Ham, and could use De Ketelaere to help fund the deal.
Scamacca has had a tricky time at the London Stadium too, with injuries and competition from Michail Antonio and Danny Ings restricting his game time.
The 24-year-old has still shown promising signs though, scoring eight goals in 27 appearances, helping the Premier League side win their Europa Conference League group and see off AEK Larnaca in the last 16.
However, after losing his starting spot in the Italian national team to Mateo Retegui, Scamacca may return to Italy in hope of forcing his way back into Roberto Mancini's plans.
