Liverpool's Alberto Moreno and Arsenal's Nacho Monreal are under consideration by Barcelona, according to a report.

Liverpool's Alberto Moreno and Arsenal's Nacho Monreal are reportedly under consideration by Barcelona as the Spanish champions seek a back-up left-back to Jordi Alba.

Lucas Digne's summer move to Everton has left Barcelona short of options at left full-back, and the Catalan giants are believed to be keen to bring in another player in that area of the field.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish champions have identified Arsenal's Monreal and Liverpool's Moreno as potential options.

Monreal will see his current Arsenal deal expire at the end of this season, while Moreno has fallen out of favour at Liverpool, and both are said to be open to returning to Spain this summer.

Moreno's contract at Liverpool will also expire next summer, meaning that Barcelona would be free to approach either player at the start of 2019.
