Former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola believes that Lionel Messi and Neymar will work "just fine together" at Camp Nou.
Neymar signed for Barcelona last month, where he will join the Catalan giants' star-studded lineup, and with the array of talent in the side, Guardiola believes that his partnership with Messi can only improve his former club.
The 42-year-old told Marca: "Will Messi and Neymar work okay together? The best player in footballing history together with another superb one? I'm sure that they'll work fine together.
"Barca and the national team have a lot of life in them for quite a few years yet. Barca got 100 points last season, which is tremendous. Johan Cruyff's ideas continue and the club has some marvellous players."
Guardiola left Barcelona in 2012, before taking a year out of the sport ahead of moving to Champions League winners Bayern Munich.
