Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has revealed that he intends to compete in the Premier League one day.
The Poland international has been linked with a move to Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich following reports that the forward plans to sign a pre-contract agreement in January.
"I will be able to sign a contract in January, but I have never said that I will sign a contract with Bayern," The Telegraph quotes Lewandowski as saying.
"It was a misunderstanding. It is true I had the opportunity to speak with Sir Alex Ferguson [last year], but we didn't mention the transfer.
"One day I would like to play in the Premier League. It would be a great experience."
Chelsea and Manchester City were both linked with the striker during the summer transfer window.
