Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill has claimed that his side should have beaten Leeds United after seeing them fight back to earn a 2-2 draw.
The Robins picked up their first point of the new Championship season last night, scoring twice late on to deny Leeds the victory at Ashton Gate.
However, Cotterill believes that his players deserved more than a share of the spoils following a dominant performance against Uwe Rosler's men.
"I'm disappointed," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We battered them tonight, we were excellent. For the penalty we made a mistake and the referee has made a mistake, he has not touched him.
"The one thing our players have is fantastic spirit and we deservedly got something out of the game. Our football tonight was fantastic and that is how we want to play. Once we rid ourselves of those errors we will be a force."
City are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Middlesbrough in the league.
