Steve Bruce has admitted that his Hull City side have been "under par" this season, but believes that things will get better for his troops.
Christian Eriksen struck a stoppage-time winner as Tottenham Hotspur beat the Tigers 2-1 on Sunday to inflict a fifth Premier League defeat on Hull.
Bruce's side have won just two of their 12 league outings so far this season, but the 53-year-old says that he has enough talent in his ranks to negotiate their rough patch.
"It'll turn around for us," he told the Daily Mail. "Every manager in the Premier League will come in and say 'we could be this, we could be that' but, after 12 games, we are below par.
"We've only got 11 points, which isn't good enough. We'd all love to be in the top half of the table but we're not.
"But I'm convinced we've got a good enough squad to cope with the rigours of the winter ahead and I'm sure we'll be okay."
City sit 17th in the table, one point above the relegation zone.
