Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren: 'We can beat anyone if we're 100% focused'

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren says that the team can beat anyone after claiming a 4-1 triumph over Manchester City at the weekend.

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has claimed that the team are capable of beating any opponent as long as they are "100% focused".

Jurgen Klopp's side managed to claim a 4-1 triumph over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The Reds, who sit six points off a Champions League spot, have also earned an away victory over Chelsea this season.

"We completely deserved the win and it could have been even bigger because we had so many chances," Lovren told the Liverpool Echo.

"It was a great team effort and I think that's the most important thing. I'm really satisfied with everyone's performance. There is so much potential in this squad. We have so many quality players and we can beat anybody if we are 100% focused."

Meanwhile, Klopp has claimed that he cannot "promise" to deliver Champions League football back to Anfield this season.
