Luis Suarez hopeful of exploiting "weakness" in Manchester City defence

Luis Suarez believes that Barcelona can exploit the weaknesses in the Manchester City defence when the two sides meet in the Champions League.

Luis Suarez has claimed that Barcelona can exploit the weaknesses in the Manchester City defence when the two sides meet in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday.

City warmed up for the meeting with the Catalan giants by thrashing Newcastle United 5-0 to return to top form in the Premier League, but Suarez is confident of putting the pressure on Manuel Pellegrini's back four.

When asked about City's qualities, the Uruguayan told reporters: "In midfield and up front, but they also have weakness at the back.

"People may doubt them because of the run they have been on lately, but they are Manchester City. They are Premier League champions and they have top quality players all over the pitch."

"I think when you play against the big teams you never know what they're doing on the pitch. They have really good players and really good quality with the ball but we are Barcelona and we know what we can do against City."

Barcelona recorded a 4-0 aggregate triumph over City at the same stage of the competition last season.
