Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed that captain Wayne Rooney is fit for Sunday's final Premier League game of the season against Hull City, but goalkeeper David de Gea is a doubt.
Rooney was absent from the Red Devils' 1-1 draw with Arsenal last weekend due to a dead leg, but will play at the KC Stadium this weekend.
De Gea suffered a hamstring injury at Old Trafford against the Gunners, but Van Gaal is unsure if the shot-stopper will play a part in the last match of the campaign.
"I don't know [if De Gea will play] yet," the Dutchman told MUTV. "He has trained today but only with our goalkeeper trainer. He still has a little problem so I want to wait a day longer because I want him to play against Hull City. Rooney is available. He is captain, so he shall play."
There is a chance that Sunday's game could be De Gea's last for United as he has been heavily linked with a summer move to Real Madrid.
