David Moyes has reportedly emerged as a potential managerial target for Nantes.
Moyes successfully kept West Ham United in the Premier League last season, but the Hammers opted against extending the Scot's deal past the summer.
Reports have linked Moyes with becoming the new coach of the United States, but according to The Mirror, Nantes are also considering an approach for the 55-year-old.
Nantes - currently managed by Miguel Cardoso - sit in 19th place in the Ligue 1 standings having recorded just five points from their opening seven games of the season.
Cardoso only arrived as a replacement for Claudio Ranieri in June, with the Italian having guided the club to a ninth-place finish during the last campaign.
