Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has admitted that he is "excited" for the new season to get underway.
The 24-year-old was part of the Holland squad that was knocked out of Euro 2012 recently, having failed to pick up a single point from their three group matches.
Following his return to Tyneside, Krul has revealed that he is keen to put this summer's tournament behind him.
"After a disappointing #EURO2012 back in Newcastle. Going to recharge the battery's now on holiday. Getting excited for next season already," he wrote on Twitter.
Krul joined the Magpies in 2006.
