Stevie May has said that he is "ecstatic" to have signed for Preston North End.
The Scottish striker signed for Preston on transfer deadline day after making 39 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday.
"I'm ecstatic to get the deal over the line; it has been a long day but one I am glad is complete," he told the club's official website. "I want to play games and I jumped at the chance when Preston North End came in for me.
"It is a big club and one that has tracked me for a long while. There has been a link for about 18 months, so it was nice to come and finally meet everyone and the manager has views I believe in.
"I have spoken to players here I played with last season and they are all in agreement it is the right move for me at this time."
May made his Scotland debut against England in 2014.
