Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has revealed that he is close to joining Serie A side Lazio.
The Frenchman has been a free agent for a short period of time following his release from Sunderland last month.
However, his search for a new club appears to have come to a conclusion after he confirmed on Twitter that he will travel to Rome today.
"Bonjour. Escale a Paris et maintenant direction Rome. Now in Paris now direction Rome. Good morning," he wrote.
As well as United and Sunderland, Saha has also played for Metz, Newcastle United, Fulham, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.
