Nelson Oliveira has stated that he would like to make his move to Swansea City permanent this summer.
The Benfica striker joined the Welsh club on a six-month loan switch in December, but has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot.
However, he is expected to feature now that Bafetimbi Gomis has been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring strain, and Oliveira hopes that he can use the forthcoming games as a way of staking his claim for a permanent move.
"Swansea have been very good with me," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
"I'd like very much to stay in Swansea, but I'm contracted to Benfica. When the season is finished we'll see what happens.
"I can only say that I'd like to play for Swansea. I like the Premier League."
Oliveira has made nine appearances for Swansea.
