West Ham United have reportedly agreed a club-record fee of around £24m for Juventus striker Simone Zaza.
The Hammers have been linked with high-profile forwards throughout the summer as Slaven Bilic looks to bolster his attacking options before next Wednesday's transfer deadline.
Andre Ayew did arrive from Swansea City for a club-record sum of £20m, but the Ghana international was soon ruled out for four months due to injury.
With Andy Carroll also sidelined, The Guardian now reports that the Hammers have switched their attention to Zaza, who struggled for playing time at the Italian champions last season.
The two clubs are thought to have come to an agreement over a deal that would see West Ham break their transfer record again, although personal terms are yet to be discussed.
West Ham's Europa League exit at the hands of Astra Giurgiu this evening could affect the move, with Wolfsburg also thought to be interested.
