Catalans Dragons stand-off Todd Carney has been ruled out of action for up to two months with a torn pectoral muscle.
The Australian suffered the problem on Sunday during his side's 22-22 draw with Huddersfield Giants in Super League.
Carney has already missed eight matches this season due to knee and rib injuries.
"Todd Carney has suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will be sidelined for six to eight weeks," said a Dragons spokesman.
Catalans Dragons continue their Super League campaign on June 5 when they will travel to Warrington Wolves.
