Shaun Wane happy with Wigan Warriors improvement against Huddersfield Giants

Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane hails his players for improving in the second half to beat Huddersfield Giants in Super League.

Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane has praised his side for putting in a "very good" second-half performance to beat Huddersfield Giants in Super League.

The Warriors ran in four tries after the break at the Galpharm Stadium on Sunday to earn a 32-18 triumph.

Wigan sit in third place in the table, two points behind leaders Leeds Rhinos.

"We were not at our best in the first half, far from it, but we had a chat at half time about the areas where we needed to improve and I thought we were very good in the second half," Wane is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"It was satisfying to come up with that, against a very well-coached team who have the best defence in the competition."

Wigan are back in Super League action on June 12 when they travel to Langtree Park to face St Helens.
