Roger Federer has said that he is delighted to have won in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships this afternoon.
The former world number one, who has now emerged victorious in 33 of his last 35 matches, beat Andy Murray in straight sets to secure his fifth title in Dubai.
"Winning's the best," he said after the match. "It went so well. It's been a special week again for me in Dubai.
"It's a wonderful tournament. To win, even better. It's nice winning somewhere where I spend so much time.
"Thanks again to those who made it a great week for me. I'm looking forward to coming back."
The title is Federer's second of the year and takes his career total to 72.
