Ferran Torres has said that he is "really happy" at Barcelona and wants to stay with the club this summer amid the ongoing speculation surrounding his future.
The 23-year-old made the move to Camp Nou from Manchester City in January 2022, and he has represented the Catalan outfit on 71 occasions, scoring 14 goals and providing nine assists in the process.
Torres found it difficult to show his best form at Barcelona last term, though, only managing seven goals and three assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.
Xavi's side are under pressure to make some big sales this summer due to their financial problems, and Torres has been linked with a move away from the club.
According to Mundo Deportivo, there is serious interest from the Premier League in the shape of Aston Villa, who are interested in a loan with a purchase option.

The report claims that Villa boss Unai Emery has identified the attacker as one of the club's leading targets this summer, as they prepare for European football during the 2023-24 campaign.
However, the Spaniard has revealed that he is only thinking about staying at Barcelona this summer.
"I can't wait to continue at Barcelona. I'm really happy at Barca and my plan is to continue at the club," he told Jijantes FC when questioned on the speculation surrounding his future.
"I want to show that I am a very good player. I know I haven't been able to prove it yet. Although when I arrived, I helped so that the team ended up qualifying for the Champions League. I had very good games."

Torres was also quizzed on potential offers that had been made, but the forward said that he was not aware of any bids that had been submitted at this stage of the transfer window.
"I don't know because I have my cell phone in airplane mode and I don't get messages," he added.
Torres scored four goals and contributed two assists in 33 La Liga appearances during the 2022-23 campaign, as Barcelona comfortably finished at the summit to reclaim the title.
The forward has another four years left to run on his contract, meanwhile, meaning that Barcelona could find it difficult to move him away from the club this summer.
Torres previously played in the Premier League for Man City between 2020 and 2022, scoring 16 goals and registering four assists in 43 appearances for the Citizens in all competitions.
