Maurizio Sarri has reportedly been given the go-ahead by Chelsea's board to stockpile new recruits in the January transfer window.
The Blues have been threatened with a two-year transfer ban by FIFA, spanning four transfer windows, for allegedly signing under-age foreign players.
According to The Express, Sarri has therefore been given £200m to bring in a number of targets before the ban kicks in.
Juventus full-back Alex Sandro, Napoli's Elseid Hysaj and Christian Pulisic of Borussia Dortmund are all said to be in Chelsea's sights, as is former defender Nathan Ake, who now plies his trade for Bournemouth.
Chelsea have denied any wrongdoing with regards to their alleged illegal transfer business and hope to hear back from FIFA in the coming weeks.
