Manchester United may reportedly have to make do without the services of Bastian Schweinsteiger for a further month.
The Germany international has been sidelined since the FA Cup tie with Sheffield United at the turn of the year with a knee injury.
According to Sport 1, the midfielder recently underwent a scan in his homeland that revealed he had suffered ligament damage, which will keep him out of action until late February or early March.
If that is to be the case, the 31-year-old will miss a number of games, including the Premier League clash away at Chelsea next weekend.
