Sunday's Premier League predictions including Manchester United vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Manchester United vs. Manchester City.

West Ham vs. Everton (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Reeling from back-to-back losses in the Premier League and Europa League, West Ham United seek a slice of redemption when Everton visit the London Stadium on Sunday in the top flight.

David Moyes's men were put to the sword 2-1 by Olympiacos in Thursday's continental affair, while the Toffees - who are mourning the loss of chairman Bill Kenwright - most recently bowed to Liverpool's superiority in the Merseyside derby.

We say: West Ham United 2-1 Everton

A long journey home from a morale-depleting Europa League defeat will no doubt hamper West Ham's preparations for Sunday's match, although recalls for several fresh-legged players should negate the negative effects of Thursday's affair.

If last weekend's somewhat unjust defeat is anything to go by, Everton should still pose a threat against a permeable Irons backline despite their off-field distractions, but Moyes's side are yet to draw a blank in a 2023 Premier League home match, and we have faith in the Europa Conference League winners to get back on track.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Aston Villa vs. Luton (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Aston Villa will be looking to strengthen their hold of fifth position in the Premier League standings when they play host to Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, each of Luton's five points in this division have come in their last four games, giving them confidence ahead of a second successive trip to the Midlands.

We say: Aston Villa 4-0 Luton Town

With 11 home Premier League victories in a row, we would not back any of the current top flight to defeat Villa at their home ground right now. Another four-goal salvo could follow in this contest, a scoreline that would have the potential to hit Luton in the long term.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Brighton vs. Fulham (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Fresh from breaking new ground with a maiden European victory, Brighton & Hove Albion switch back to Premier League duties on Sunday, when Fulham make the journey to the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls saw off crisis club Ajax 2-0 on Thursday for their first-ever Europa League win, while Marco Silva's men most recently lost by the same scoreline to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 Fulham

Not since their Championship days have Brighton come out on the correct end of the scoreline against Fulham, but the Cottagers' purple patch appears destined to come to an end on Sunday, even with their hosts suffering from a lack of rest and the absences of March and Welbeck.

A recipe for attacking success continues to elude the Aleksandar Mitrovic-less visitors, who will likely travel back to London ruing yet another goalless and pointless display against De Zerbi's rejuvenated crop.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Liverpool vs. Nott'm Forest (Sunday, 2.00pm)

On the prowl for a third consecutive win across all tournaments, Liverpool return to Premier League action on Sunday, when Nottingham Forest stop over at Anfield.

The Reds dismantled Toulouse 5-1 in Thursday's Europa League contest, while Steve Cooper's side threw away a 2-0 lead against Luton Town to draw 2-2 last weekend.

We say: Liverpool 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Benefitting from Toulouse's brave approach in the Europa League, Liverpool should not expect such an emphatic scoreline against a Forest side bound to sit back and soak up pressure, but three points ought to be theirs regardless.

Sure to be morally damaged by letting a two-goal lead slip against the newcomers last weekend, it could be Forest's turn to try to recover from a 2-0 deficit at Anfield, but Cooper's side should not repeat Luton's feats on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Man Utd vs. Man City (Sunday, 3.30pm)

Fans will flock to Old Trafford en masse for the 191st Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon, as Manchester United butt heads with noisy neighbours Manchester City.

Both teams enter the highly-anticipated battle on the back of Champions League victories, as the Red Devils sunk Copenhagen 1-0, while the reigning European champions overcame BSC Young Boys 3-1.

We say: Manchester United 0-2 Manchester City

Even the most impassioned Man United supporter ought to admit that there has been an element of fortune to each of their last three victories, and continued shortcomings in the final third should prove to be their downfall in Sunday's tantalising derby.

Man City have hardly been exemplary in defence this season, but even with a wall of red in the Old Trafford stands roaring them on, we cannot envisage the hosts' disjointed attack troubling Guardiola's side, who ought to earn both the bragging rights and three points from the weekend's headline match.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
