Louis van Gaal: 'No favours for Steve Bruce'

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal insists that he will not make it easy for Hull City to beat his side and avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Louis van Gaal has insisted that he will not rest players for Manchester United's final game of the Premier League season against Hull City.

The Tigers, who are managed by former United defender Steve Bruce, need to win on Sunday in order to stand a chance of avoiding relegation from the top flight.

The Dutchman said at his pre-match press conference: "I have told my players that their manager is a United child but that we have to win, why? Because also for the Premier League and Newcastle United.

"We have won six points off Newcastle United and I also want from Hull City six points."

United have won just once in their last five outings.
