Newcastle United are reportedly locked in three-way battle for Juventus player Stefano Sturaro.

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Juventus player Stefano Sturaro, along with Real Betis and Villarreal.

The Italian midfielder has not featured consistently for Massimiliano Allegri's side, and talkSPORT claims that he has been given the green light to move away from the Italian champions.

The report adds that Juventus have set an asking price of £9m for Sturaro and several clubs are monitoring the 25-year-old.

Sturaro joined the Old Lady in 2014, spending his first season on loan at Genoa.

Everton are also understood to have expressed interest in the past.
