Nottingham Forest have edged close to signing Anderlecht goalkeeper Liam Bossin, according to reports.
The 20-year-old has slipped down to third choice in the pecking order at the Belgian club and is reportedly expected to leave when his contract runs out this summer.
According to the Sun on Sunday, the Reds have agreed a compensation for Bossin ahead of a move to the City Ground, and are planning to place him in the Under-23s squad.
The report goes on to claim that Bossin also spent a week with Forest at the end of last season on trial and had previously been mentioned as a target for the Championship side.
Despite spending the entirety of his footballing career in Belgium, Bossin is an Ireland Under-21 international via his Irish mother.
