Roberto Mancini says that there will be some shock semi-final results at Euro 2012.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is expecting a surprise Euro 2012 final of Portugal against Italy.

The two sides progressed to the last four after quarter-final wins over Czech Republic and England respectively but are both underdogs in their semi-final matches.

Portugal meet holders Spain on Wednesday while Italy have to contend with tournament favourites Germany on Thursday. While many are predicting a final between the Spaniards and the Germans, Mancini believes that we're in for some shock results.

"The Final will be between Italy and Portugal," the Italian told Radio RAI.

"It'll be like what happened in this season's Champions League where favourites Barcelona and Real Madrid lost out in the last four."

Mancini played 36 times for the national team as a player.
