Crystal Palace left-back Patrick van Aanholt is a £25m January transfer target for Roma, according to a report.
Last season's Champions League semi-finalists are seeking a long-term replacement for Aleksandar Kolarov, who is now aged 33 and will be out of contract at the end of next season.
Van Aanholt has been identified as a major target for Roma transfer chief Monchi, The Sun claims, thanks to his solid form for Palace over the past 12 months.
The Giallorossi are said to have put together a package that they believe will be enough to secure the Dutchman's signature, though they could face competition from one of their biggest rivals.
Italian champions Juventus have previously been tipped to make a move for Van Aanholt as a replacement for Alex Sandro, while Manchester City were linked with a move earlier this year.
